Safer Buildings Website Development

Client Name

DHPW

Project Dates

2018 - 2019

The Safer Buildings Taskforce was established to help identify buildings in Queensland that may have combustible cladding. The Department of Housing and Public Works required the development of a portal to allow owners of buildings in Queensland to register their building, complete a number of forms to identify potentially combustible cladding and lodge associated documentation.

Our Approach

4impact assembled a comprehensive development team to deliver a fully operational Sitecore website; hosted within a Microsoft Azure cloud. The 4impact team used an Agile delivery approach to address the tight timelines and dynamically changing requirements due to legislative changes. Provisioning of the site via DevOps, fortnightly sprint planning and showcases, automated testing and a transparent approach to working with the diverse stakeholders were all essential features for a successful outcome.

Project Outcome

The site features the use of bespoke forms built by our team, secure cloud storage and an in-confidence security classification. The solution topology is fully aligned to the Queensland Government policies on architecture and security using government CUE templates and style guides throughout.
